The 23 years old Belgian cyclist representing Lotto Soudal, Lotte Kopecky wins the first edition of VueltaCV Féminas 2019. This race counted with 111 cyclists representing 19 teams. A competition that has written history in equality by using the same route as the last stage of the men’s VueltaCV Gran Premi Banc Sabadell, a 88km route of flat terrain departing from Paterna and arriving at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento in Valencia.
Likewise, VueltaCV Féminas stands out as the race that promotes equality by matching the prize pool money. The winner of the I VueltaCV Féminas will receive 2,435 euros in prize money, the same amount awarded in a men’s event of VueltaCV.
One more year we have been able to witness great celebration of cycling, and the sights have already been set for the next edition.
