The multinational company specialized in household appliances and multimedia becomes the new official sponsor of the two races organized by cyclist Ángel Casero.
The sponsorship agreement has a one-year duration and Electro Depot’s image will appear on the bibs of the cyclists of both races in 2025.
Valencia. January 30, 2025. La Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana and Electro Depot join forces for the VCV 2025 and the 7th VCV Féminas Gran Premio Tuawa. Thanks to this sponsorship agreement, the image of the multinational company will appear on the bibs of the cyclists of both races, which will be held from February 5 to 9, 2025. Javier Pérez, marketing director of Electro Depot Spain; and Ángel Casero, general director of the VCV – Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana, have described the agreement as a great opportunity for both.
“We are very excited to join the VCV – Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana, an event and a sport that embodies values we share at Electro Depot such as effort, simplicity and passion for what we do. This agreement not only reinforces our commitment to the Valencian Community, but also comes at a special time, coinciding with the reopening of our store in Alfafar after the DANA. We want to feel closer and more useful than ever, supporting sports and helping families to reequip their homes,” said Javier Perez, marketing director of Electro Depot Spain at the signing of the sponsorship agreement.
“For us it is great news to welcome Electro Depot in the family of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana. It is a multinational reference in a crucial sector such as household appliances and multimedia, which also has an implantation in our territory with its physical store in Alfafar, something that is very important for us in the VCV. I want to welcome Electro Depot to the wonderful world of cycling and I am sure that this is the beginning of a close and lasting relationship,” said the VCV’s general manager, Ángel Casero.
Electro Depot has more than one hundred stores in Europe, five of them in Spain and two in the Comunitat Valenciana. One in Alicante opened in 2021 and the other one is located in Alfafar, a town hit hard by the DANA last October 29th. This store was hit hard by the force of the water and, after long weeks of cleaning and reconstruction, has been able to reopen its doors recently. Electro Depot’s mission is to equip the homes of the world, providing access to appliances and multimedia at low prices, without sacrificing quality.
