STAGE 1: SEGORBE – TORREBLANACA (160 KM)

A route through the province of Castellón, this stage is destined for a sprint finish. Breakaways could liven things up with a very challenging section of short, steep climbs in the middle of the stage. A tense finale awaits, featuring the unprecedented climb to “Alto de los Madroños” and the always difficult slopes of Oropesa. The sprinters will have to push hard to reach the finish and contest the beautiful sprint in Torreblanca.
