CV’s 72nd edition will take place from the 14th to 18th of April (2021) after being postponed from last February due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
The Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana Gran Premi Banc Sabadell 2021 has announced the new event dates. The 72nd edition of the VCV was originally scheduled for February, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation it was postponed to a later date, together with other 70 cycling events. Now its confirmed that event will take place next April. The race will start from Elche on Wednesday April 14th and will finish in Valencia on Sunday April 18th. The race itinerary will be the same as scheduled for the month of February and the best cyclists on the international peloton will be taking part in the 72nd edition of the VCV.
The VCV 2021 will follow all the safety protocols established by UCI and the local authorities, this in order to create a safe race environment for the cyclists and the teams. In order to achive a safe event environment, the organization will not publish any specific communication regards to the stage and routes to avoid overcrowding of cycling fans along the route.
