Valencia (22.01.24) – Global Omnium, through Tuawa, together with the organisation of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana, has described as a “success” the celebration of the second edition of “Pedal for the Planet” in which more than 500 people took part. The proposed route is a 10-kilometre circular route along the Valencia River and has attracted the attention of hundreds of families committed to sport, sustainability and the future of the planet.
The route was opened by Angel Casero, director of the Volta a la Comunidad Valenciana and Dionisio García Comín together with Juan Monrabal CEO of Global Omnium and Tuawa respectively. In addition to the people who anonymously wanted to join the event, personalities from the world of sport also participated, such as Paco Benitez, technical director of the VCV and former professional footballers like Paco Camarasa.
“Pedal for the Planet” is an event that also aims to “warm up engines” prior to the celebration of the VCV, which this year will start on 31 January until 4 February. This year Global Omnium, through Tuawa, has decided to increase its commitment to the VCV and will also sponsor the women’s race that will take place on the last day and will be called “Gran Premio Tuawa”, which this year celebrates its sixth edition.
