The route was opened by Angel Casero, director of the Volta a la Comunidad Valenciana and Dionisio García Comín together with Juan Monrabal CEO of Global Omnium and Tuawa respectively. In addition to the people who anonymously wanted to join the event, personalities from the world of sport also participated, such as Paco Benitez, technical director of the VCV and former professional footballers like Paco Camarasa.
“Pedal for the Planet” is an event that also aims to “warm up engines” prior to the celebration of the VCV, which this year will start on 31 January until 4 February.
