At the VCV

This will be the first time the VCV has entered the town of Torreblanca, although it has passed through the municipality on previous occasions. The finish will be in Torrenostra after a long straight. The teams will work for their sprinters, making the final kilometers a battle between squads to position their finishers.

Cycling

The town is the starting point for numerous cycling routes under the name “Torreblanca en bici”. Four routes of varying difficulty have been designed, offering options for mountain biking, coastal routes, and even one that leads to the Prat Natural Park.

Economy

Its economy is based primarily on agriculture (especially citrus fruits) and tourism, taking advantage of the natural park and the beaches of Torrenostra and the North. Torreblanca has been declared a tourist municipality.

Culture

Torreblanca blends tradition and modernity in its cultural scene. Since 1978, the town has celebrated the “Passió,” a reenactment of the life of Jesus Christ during Holy Week. Its antithesis is the Cítric festival, a celebration of urban art through graffiti painting.

Sport

Sports activities are structured around facilities for basketball, tennis, padel, football, skateboarding, pelota, swimming, weight training, and climbing. Summer tournaments on the beach and an obstacle course, along with water sports, are among the main activities offered.

Gastronomy

Torreblanca’s cuisine is based on seafood and the fertile produce of the coast. Olla Torreblanquina is a traditional and hearty stew rich in legumes (chickpeas) and vegetables (beans, carrots, turnips, chard). cuisine is made with products from its fertile orchard.
