The route for the 2026 Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana (VCV) G.P. Banc Sabadell has been revealed
The 2026 edition of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana G.P. Banc Sabadell has unveiled the route for its five stages. The presentation took place in Valencia. The race, which will be held from February 4th to 8th, 2026, will pass through all three provinces, starting in Castellón with a 160km road stage between Segorbe and Torreblanca on February 4th. It appears the teams will be working towards a bunch sprint finish.
Following this, the team has planned a 17.5km time trial between Carlet and Alginet, in the province of Valencia. This stage will be a true test for all the specialists, who will be debuting aero bikes and specialized equipment. The man to beat will be Remco Evenepoel.
The third stage takes us to Alicante, with a route between Orihuela and San Vicente del Raspeig, covering 158 kilometers. On paper, it’s a stage for the leader’s team to control the race.
The route between La Nucía and Teulada-Moraira (172 km) features five categorized climbs and an elevation gain of over 3,000 meters. It’s considered the queen stage. That Saturday, February 7th, will be decisive.
Finally, the race will finish in Valencia with a 93 km route between Bétera and the city of Valencia. The Valencian coast will once again host the finish line. This stage will be far from a transitional one, and if the leader doesn’t have a significant advantage, he’ll need to defend himself against attacks from the other teams.
